Terms of Use
The terms that apply to using ratelogiq.com: what the site is for, what it is not, how calculators should be read, and the limits on our liability.
Acceptance of these terms
By using ratelogiq.com you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms apply to every visitor, whether or not you send a request.
What this site is
This site provides general information about mortgage programs for self-employed borrowers, real-estate investors and homeowners, together with calculators and a way to request a conversation with a mortgage professional. The content is educational. It describes how programs generally work and who they tend to fit; it does not describe the terms of any specific loan available to you.
No offer or commitment to lend
Nothing on this site is an offer to lend, a commitment to lend, a rate quote, a Loan Estimate, a pre-qualification or an approval. Sending a contact request starts a conversation; it is not a loan application, and no lending decision is made from it. Any loan is subject to a complete application, verification of the information you provide, an appraisal or valuation, underwriting, and approval by the lender under its own guidelines, which change. Programs described here vary by lender and may be withdrawn or changed at any time without notice.
Calculators are estimates
The calculators on this site produce estimates from the figures you enter and from simplifying assumptions. They do not know your credit profile, the program a lender would use, the property’s appraised value, taxes, insurance, association dues or closing costs, and they do not reflect any lender’s current pricing. A calculator result is not a quote, a payment schedule, an approval or a statement of what you qualify for. Treat it as a starting point for a conversation and nothing more.
No professional advice and no reliance
The information on this site is not financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a professional who knows your circumstances. Decisions about whether to borrow, how to hold property, or how to treat interest for tax purposes should be made with appropriate advisers. You agree not to rely on the site’s content as the basis for any decision, and you accept that the practice is not responsible for decisions you make in reliance on it.
Accuracy is not warranted
We work to keep the site accurate and current, and we correct errors when we find them. Even so, mortgage programs, regulations and lender guidelines change frequently, and content may be out of date or incomplete at the moment you read it. The site and its content are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Intellectual property
The text, graphics, calculators, code and design of this site belong to the practice or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view, print and share pages for personal, non-commercial use with attribution. You may not copy the site’s content into another site or product, scrape it in bulk, remove notices, or use the RateLogiq name or marks without written permission. Images on the site are illustrative and are not photographs of real clients, staff, offices or documents.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and only as intended. In particular, you agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading or someone else’s information through the contact form.
- Attempt to bypass the security check, probe or overload the site, or interfere with its operation.
- Use automated tools to collect content or submit forms, other than search engines indexing public pages.

Submissions
When you send a contact request, you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you are the person it describes or are authorized to act for them, and that you are an adult. You also consent to be contacted in the ways you selected on the form. Consent to marketing messages is optional and never a condition of service.
Text messaging (SMS) terms
Text messages are sent only to people who request contact through this website and check the consent box. Message frequency varies by conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help; you can also withdraw consent by email, by phone or through the Contact page. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or of obtaining a loan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your mobile number and text opt-in are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.
Third-party links and services
The site links to third-party sites, including regulators, government agencies and reference sources, and may embed third-party services such as the security check or analytics. We do not control those sites or services and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement. Lenders and settlement providers you may be introduced to are independent businesses with their own terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the practice, its owner and its contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities or lost data, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, even if advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fullest extent the law allows. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify the practice against claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your violation of these terms or your misuse of the site.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms at any time. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be noted here.
